We regret to inform you that because of low registration, Summer School in Liturgical Studies 2011 is cancelled. Last year, shortly after the end of SSLS 2010, we established that for 2011, courses that had fewer than 10 students would be cancelled. To date, that would mean cancelling all but two courses. Unfortunately, two courses do not a summer school make. With a clear need to allow people-students and instructors-time to make alternative plans for their summers, we decided that this difficult decision had to be taken now.

The SSLS steering committee and the WCL will continue to study how we can best serve the needs for liturgical formation in  Western Canada.
